Genealogist Going to Jail!
That’s right; ProGenealogists is sending me to jail! When we were approached by the local MDA chapter to help them raise money for Muscular Dystrophy and Jerry Lewis’s kids, how could we say no? So, I volunteered to be the jail bird, which means I need your tax-deductible help to raise bail so I can get out of jail!
I know you share my enthusiasm for genealogy and finding dead people. But, it is even more important to help the living – especially those who can’t help themselves, like Jerry Lewis’s kids.
Please take just a couple of minutes and go to my special “jail-bird” webpage and make a small donation to help me make bail. I’m coming to this a bit late and am scheduled for “lock-up” on Thursday, 5 August 2010; that’s just days away! So, please hurry. If you donate just a little right now, I’ll make bail in time.
It does not need to be much. Just $25 or $50 will help the cause. Of course, more would be wonderful if your budget permits. You’ll feel great. And remember, it’s tax deductible. Where else can you get all of that, and my deepest gratitude, for such a small donation?
You can view my page here. What are you waiting for?
Thanks so very much, for helping the kids! I can’t wait to blog about the records I learn about in the “big house.”
By the way, if your company is looking for more exposure and a starring role on the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, let me know. We can arrange a gold or silver star prominently placed on the Telethon Star Board!
