Remember Your Past … Passwords
Would you rather remember ancestor’s names than all the passwords you have for genealogy and social networking sites? You need a safe for your passwords! One that keeps all the passwords on your own computer, safe and sound.
Months ago I found the neatest little piece of software. It keeps all your passwords in one place and classified by website name and type. All you have to do is remember one password … and then you get into the safe for all your other passwords.
I use this password keeper all the time and highly recommend it – and best of all, it is FREE! (and spyware free, too). Head on over to this website www.KeePass.info and try the software out. (Mac lovers, I’m sorry, this is for PC only.)
My favorite geeked-out quote from their website, “Even if you would use all computers in the world to attack one database, decrypting it would take longer than the age of the universe. Even quantum computers won’t help that much. The algorithms are symmetric so its complexity would be reduced a bit, anyway, the sun will go nova before you have decrypted the database.”
Get KeePass and spend more time finding the past vs. searching for passwords.
